Conceived, written and produced over 24 sleepless hours on July 23rd, 2011.

On Saturday July 23 at 4 PM we (Billy and Adam) will head out to Screamland Studios to work on a project we have been dreaming up for over 2 years. With the help of our wizard producer, Mike Prochilo, aka Rich Royce, we will attempt to make an EP from scratch over the course of 24 hours, titled, The Sleepover EP.

The parameters are simple.

1. Enter the studio with no lyrics written or music prepared.
2. Stay up for 24 hours making and recording music.
3. Package it, master it and share it with the world on Sunday.

The Sleepover EP is a response to the long, expensive and hyper calculated process that is making an album. We subscribe to a philosophy of living in the moment and are excited to see how that philosophy will reveal itself in the creation of this album. Success or failure be damned, we are curious to see where our brains go on Saturday and hope you will be curious too.

Please follow our sleepover party as we will be live-tweeting the entire process and sharing snippets of the songs along the way at #TheSleepoverEP. It plans on being a surreal, exhaustive and at times out-of-body experience - just like a good sleepover party should be.
